hittade inte på så särskilt mycket i helgen. gick ut å åt å drack goda drinkar med trevliga vänner. ganska normalt för att vara oss. alla är glada, nu när solen är här.

idag åkte vi ut till north van för att fira sean's mamma på morsdagen och samtidigt ta itu med hennes trädgård. min uppgift var att rensa ormbunkar. jösses vad svårt. hårt arbete med andra ord. dessutom brände jag mig på mina axlar. ÄR DET SOMMAR NU?

today we went out to north van to celebrate sean's mom on mothersday and at the same time help her out with her garden. my assignment was to clear out some ferns. damn it was difficult. hard work in other words. i also got a sunburn on my shoulders. IS IT SUMMER NOW?

mys-kollar på tv tillsammans med sean. har dukat upp med sleepy-time-te och smörgås. jag älskar lugna måndagskvällar efter att kroppen varit i chocktillstånd hela dagen pga att den kastas in i hektiskt jobb. det är ju det som är det fina, att kunna koppla av och känna lugnet infinna sig.

watching tv with sean tonight. i made some sleepy time tea and sandwiches for us. i love calm monday nights after the body has been in shock the whole day because it got thrown into a hectic work day. that's the nice thing though, to be able to relax and feel the body be filled with calmness.

igårkväll var vi på middag med två andra fina par. hade jättetrevligt! åt gott och drack goda drinkar, allt på ett ställe som heter the union. idag är det nödvändigheter som står på schemat. nödvändigheter så som att äta onyttigheter och kolla på film, bland annat. det är ju bara söndag en gång i veckan!

last night we went out for dinner with two other pretty couples. had so much fun! ate delicious food and drank amazing drinks at a place called the union. today i'm dealing with necessary things. like eat unhealthy stuff and watch movies, among some other things. it's only sunday once a week!
 

this is what i do at work

jag jobbar ju som visual merchandiser hos american apparel, här i vancouver. innan jag flyttade hit visste jag inte ens vad det var, men det är ett riktigt roligt jobb. det går i princip ut på att försäkra sig om att affären ser bra ut, att rätt produkt finns på rätt ställe, att vi över huvudtaget har tillräckligt med varor hemma, göra skyltfönstren och lite annat smått och gott. jag trivs väldigt bra, och har alltid gjort det också. jag tror det är något visst med american apparel. de flesta jag känner har genom åren då jag jobbat där, kommit och gått, men jag tycker det är trivsamt. jag har även fått möjligheten att jobba i montreal, toronto och nu senast los angeles, så det känns riktigt bra. mycket press såklart, men det gick bra. så här är några bilder på uppsättningar som jag gjort!

 i work as visual merchandiser at american apparel here in vancouver. before i moved here i didn't really know what it was, but it is a really fun job. it basically means that you make sure the store is looking perfect, that the right product is in its right spot, that we also have the right products in, to make window displays and some other small things. i really enjoy it, and always have, too. i think there is something special with american apparel. most people i know have come and then left during the time i've been with this company. but i really do like it. i've also had the opportunities to work in montreal, toronto and now last los angeles, which feels great. a lot of pressure of course, but it all went good. so here are a few pics of displays i've done!
