mys-kollar på tv tillsammans med sean. har dukat upp med sleepy-time-te och smörgås. jag älskar lugna måndagskvällar efter att kroppen varit i chocktillstånd hela dagen pga att den kastas in i hektiskt jobb. det är ju det som är det fina, att kunna koppla av och känna lugnet infinna sig.

watching tv with sean tonight. i made some sleepy time tea and sandwiches for us. i love calm monday nights after the body has been in shock the whole day because it got thrown into a hectic work day. that's the nice thing though, to be able to relax and feel the body be filled with calmness.

the union

igårkväll var vi på middag med två andra fina par. hade jättetrevligt! åt gott och drack goda drinkar, allt på ett ställe som heter the union. idag är det nödvändigheter som står på schemat. nödvändigheter så som att äta onyttigheter och kolla på film, bland annat. det är ju bara söndag en gång i veckan!

last night we went out for dinner with two other pretty couples. had so much fun! ate delicious food and drank amazing drinks at a place called the union. today i'm dealing with necessary things. like eat unhealthy stuff and watch movies, among some other things. it's only sunday once a week!
 

this is what i do at work

jag jobbar ju som visual merchandiser hos american apparel, här i vancouver. innan jag flyttade hit visste jag inte ens vad det var, men det är ett riktigt roligt jobb. det går i princip ut på att försäkra sig om att affären ser bra ut, att rätt produkt finns på rätt ställe, att vi över huvudtaget har tillräckligt med varor hemma, göra skyltfönstren och lite annat smått och gott. jag trivs väldigt bra, och har alltid gjort det också. jag tror det är något visst med american apparel. de flesta jag känner har genom åren då jag jobbat där, kommit och gått, men jag tycker det är trivsamt. jag har även fått möjligheten att jobba i montreal, toronto och nu senast los angeles, så det känns riktigt bra. mycket press såklart, men det gick bra. så här är några bilder på uppsättningar som jag gjort!

 i work as visual merchandiser at american apparel here in vancouver. before i moved here i didn't really know what it was, but it is a really fun job. it basically means that you make sure the store is looking perfect, that the right product is in its right spot, that we also have the right products in, to make window displays and some other small things. i really enjoy it, and always have, too. i think there is something special with american apparel. most people i know have come and then left during the time i've been with this company. but i really do like it. i've also had the opportunities to work in montreal, toronto and now last los angeles, which feels great. a lot of pressure of course, but it all went good. so here are a few pics of displays i've done!

but i'm happy anyways. watching grey's anatomy, making lists for this weekend as well as some plans,
over eating, and other things that usually are kinda fun. can't believe it's basically weekend!

he said i looked good today

kanske berodde det på min snäva klänning. hur som helst! såhär såg jag ut häromdagen. hade sovit kring fem timmar så då gäller det att lägga lite extra krut på sin klädsel... för att inte se helt bedrövlig ut, alltså.

maybe because of my tight dress. anyways! this is what i looked like the other day. i had slept around five hours so you just gotta do what you can to not look completely terrible.

date night

sean och jag klädde upp oss och vi åkte till ett jättefint hotell för öl, dry martinis
och nachos! så himla roligt. vi går inte ut bara han och jag, längre, så det var helt
enkelt riktigt härligt att göra något sånt här på ett annat ställe än hemma.
att göra oss fina för varandra och samtala om viktiga och oviktiga saker tills vi bestämde
oss för att åka hem tillsammans.

sean and i dressed up and we went to a really nice hotel for beer, dry martinis and
nachos! it was so much fun. we don't really got out just him and i, anymore, so it
was just very wonderful to get this time with eachother somewhere else than home.
to make ourselves look pretty for eachother and talk about important and unimportant things
until we decided to go home together.

more signs of spring

just nu lever jag för de soliga dagarna. det har verkligen varit en utdragen höst, vinter
och nu vår. utan att riktigt bli vår. det känns inte som om den kommit på riktigt.
det är därför jag blir så glatt överraskad varje gång solen är framme och värmer
mina kinder.

right now i'm living for the sunny days. it has really been a long fall, winter and
now spring. without really turning into spring. it doesn't feel it has came yet.
and that is why i get so happily surprised every time the sun chooses to warm my cheeks.

weekend recap

hela den här helgen har varit fin. i fredags gick vi på stan, kollade vi på hockeyn på en bar
ner på gatan, blev bjudna på shorts av en främling, skrev lapp till DJ:n om att han
var så bra, la oss tidigt, lördagen var lugn hemma med en massa mys, och ute i finvädret, söndagen,
idag alltså har varit bra den med. vi fick gjort en massa viktiga ärenden som
att betala räkningar, betalat vår resa till sverige, tvättat, shoppat kavaj+byxa till sean,
firat finn på 7-års-dagen och nu ska vi strax krypa ner. mmmm helg.

this whole weekend has been nice. on friday we went shopping, watched the hockeygame at
a bar down the street, got free shorts from a stranger, wrote appreciative note to the
DJ, went to bed in reasonable time, the saturday was chill with a lot of cuttling,
spent time in the sunshine, the sunday, today that is, was good too. we dealt with a lot
of important things, such as pay bills, pay off our sweden trip, laundry, got sean a
nice suit, celebrated finn who turned t and now we're just getting into bed. mmmm weekend.

igårkväll gick jag och sean ner till stranden, efter att vi köpt med oss smörgås
och cider. så mysigt det är att bo 3 minuter bort. om solen är framme är det bara att
kila dit och njuta av livet vi har tillsammans.

last night sean and i went down to the beach, after we picked up sandwiches and cider.
so cosy it is to live just 3 minutes away. if the sun is out, we can just head down there
and enjoy the life we have together.

signs of spring on earth and in heart

spring is just so wonderful. today the weather was pretty, i was wearing light wash jeans
with a light wash shirt, work was fun, dinner was delicious, boyfriend kisses taste
incredible and i'm dreaming about sweden.
